There are other ways to treat your dry hair besides using chemicals that just might cause more damage than repairing your hair.
You can look around at your home, to see there are some ingredients that could help you moisturize your hair. You might get surprised, but it is easy to make such remedy. One kind of ingredient for homemade hair treatment that is natural is olive oil. This works awesome for hair that is brittle and dry.
Here is the simple recipe:
• Shampoo hair first
• Combine 1 beaten egg with ½ to ¾ cup of extra virgin olive oil (like with cooking, the extra virgin olive oil will give better results since the “pure” and “light” olive oils have been chemically processed).
• Wrap your hair up in a plastic cap.
• Leave on anywhere between a half an hour to 45 minutes.
• Do this about monthly for a deep hair treatment.
Another simple recipe for hair treatments is about as easy as it gets. You just use apple cider vinegar (raw apple cider vinegar from the health store works best) and water. Actually, this is not the best smelling treatment but many people say it helps keep your hair shiny. Just wash your hair like normal and then mix ½ cup of water with ½ cup of apple cider vinegar… massage your scalp (remembering to hold your nose) and then rinse your hair with warm water to remove the compound.

Make sure to do this when you are free from work, because this treatment will smell quite bad.
